We know at this time of year no one has the time to do a lot of projects, so we decided to show you just a few projects this week that may help you with those last minute gifts that we all forget about.
This is the first one and it is a sweet pocket folio. It has two pockets inside that will hold, money, gift cards, candy bars and more. Below are the measurements. Cover is 8 1/2x7 and on the 8 1/2" side you will need to score at 4" and 4 1/2" Pockets are cut at 6 1/2"x4 1/4" and you will need to score at 1/4"and 1/2" on two long sides and 1 short side. Cut away the boxes where the score lines cross and then apply your adhesive to the end flap to be ready to glue on your folio. Take a ruler and measure in from the bottom of the cover 1/2" and from each side 1/2" and make a small mark this will show just where to lay the pocket in and keep it as straight as possible. Your top flaps for the pockets are cut at 3 1/4"x2 1/2" and on the 2 1/2" you will need to score at 1 3/4 and 2 inches. You will need to cut a small angle on the end with the score marks so you can slide these into the top of the pocket and glue down to the cover. I put magnets on mine but you could always use velcro or ribbon to tie them. Mats for the pockets are cut at 3"x5 3/4" Mats for the front and back are cut at 3 3/4x6 3/4 inches. I closed mine with a ribbon and then decorated. and you are finished. Hope you give this a go, and thanks so much for watching. All product used is listed below the video with links as to where to purchase.
