SKINNY NOTEPADS

We are again using up scrap paper and making skinny notepads. These take very little paper and you can even use up those half sheets you have to create these. The video for the making of the notepads is HERE. 

You will need a heavy cardstock for this cover. That way you won't have to worry about putting any extra chipboard inside.

The cardstock is cut at
10 1/4"x 5 3/4" and on the short side you will score at 2 3/4" and then turn all the way around to the other side and score at 2 3/4" again. 

Round the corners if you want to I think it makes the pad look better. 

The notepad is 2 1/4"x9 5/8", this is the size of scrap paper I had so this is what size I am making mine. 

Mats are, white one 2 1/2"x9 7/8" and you will need 3 of these, 2 for the outsides and one for the left inside cover. I also rounded these corners. 

Design paper is cut at 2 1/4"x9 5/8" and you will need 2 of these. 

The chipboard for the back is cut the same size as the paper pad
2 1/4x9 5/8". 

The red topper is cut at 2"x2 1/4" and on the 2" side you will score at 1" and 1 1/4". 

Put the topper on the chipboard first then attach to the paper pad. Glue the chipboard down to the inside of the cover and you are finished.  

You are now ready to decorate, that is all there is to making this cute notebook and they are Craft Fair specials. I usually sell these for about $3.50 and they go over very well, and all I used is scraps.
